In the present company we must face the problem of transfer monolithic architecture to microservices. Subject is hot and arousing much controversy. Everything is blocked on the discussion where we cannot specify any other decision than the usual statements like "something must be done". In my opinion it's better to make a small step, than just talking about the big one.
